About Ultimate Orchestral Toolkit

Ultimate Orchestral Toolkit (UOT) is a pack of carefully selected sample libraries for use with Native Instruments’ Kontakt 5. It has been designed to be an all-in-one (AIO) solution for starting composers, suitable for almost all film-scoring contexts. The pack has been carefully designed, and only the best samples have been selected from a wide variety of sources.
Ultimate Orchestral Toolkit is the second release by BanannaButt following the first two releases in 2011. This kit is an entire replacement for the former releases, and contains completely new samples.
UOT is designed with film composition in mind. It should account for most modern film scoring scenarios, and users should be able to make use of these samples even if they already are familiar with some of these libraries.

Cross-Compatibility

UOT has been constructed with any and every DAW in mind. UOT comes with template and project files for the most popular DAW today: Apple Logic, Image-line FL Studio, and Cockos REAPER. Furthermore, because UOT was built on Native Istruments’ Kontakt 5, you can load the multis in any DAW of your choice as an RTAS, VST, or AU plugin1.
Instantly Ready for Playback
Using the REAPER track templates, you can incorporate UOT into any of your existing projects. Simply copy the track template files to your Reaper folder, and you can insert the tracks, auto-armed for recording, all outs labeled, everything done for you!

Compact

Weighing only 26GB, UOT is much smaller compared to its predecessor. Samples have been optimized in .NKC format, and each sample folder has been compressed using 7Zip’s superior algorithms.

Superior Documentation

Using the new and improved documentation form, you can choose whether to view the documentation as a web page, cross-browser, and designed for mobile devices, or as a .PDF file. Take your guide with you on the go, and never stop learning!

Organized

Each Kontakt multi has been organized with the composer in mind. Instruments are grouped by instrument family (wind, brass, woodwind, etc.). So when routing MIDI, instruments are ordered in a logical way, and routing is a breeze.

CPU-Friendly

Because of the superior organization, freezing Kontakt instances in order to save RAM is now a possibility. If your composition only contains Woodwinds, you can now freeze the other instrument families!

Accessibility

All UOT patches have been unencrypted, and can be quickly loaded. Because this package is built off of AssIGN’s beautiful cracked Kontakt version, all patches are unencryped and accessible from any Kontakt2. Go ahead – even open the script file! The choice is yours.

1 Note that some routing may be required for other DAW (like Pro Tools, Cubase, etc.)
2 This will only work if the libraries have first been registered by using the Library Identification Files folder in this package.

Customizability

Even if you already have a set of samples you like, it’s easy to take from this pack. Instruments have been separated by sample folder and .NKI file, so you can easily download or incorporate any instrument in your project.
