In terms of audio hardware,
Nuendo is compatible with any Core Audio device on the Mac (including
the built-in audio ports), while on Windows Steinberg recommend an audio
device with ASIO support for low–latency performance. NEK users will
need to be connected to the Internet to download the licence to the
Syncrosft dongle, although you don’t have to do this on the computer
that’s actually running Nuendo. See the ‘Platform Support’ box for
information about the operating system requirements.
2 DVD
To run Nuendo 4, Steinberg recommend that Windows
users will need a system with at least a 2GHz AMD or Intel processor,
while Mac users should consider a 1GHz Power Mac G4 or an Intel-based
Mac with a 1.5GHz Core Solo the bare minimum. You’ll need at least 1GB
memory, along with a DVD drive to install the program and a spare USB
port for the Syncrosoft dongle.
